Back in 1976, Oscar-winning Elizabeth Taylor used her celebrity status to sell out tickets for a dazzling fundraiser at the Roseland Ballroom on behalf of The Floating Hospital, and even posed for the paparazzi with then-husband senator John Warner for a nautical snapshot for the ages.
